Born in Galizia, Poland in 1911
In 1934 Meirovich immigrated to Israel and settled in Haifa. He used to make living as a poster designer.
His paintings in oil focused on abstract landscapes. In guash and oil he painted landscapes, still life and women portrait.
Mairovich was a member of the “New Horizons” (“Ofakim Hadashim”) group, whos friends tended towards universal abstract.
Exhibited in numerous group and solo exhibitions in many respected establishments in Israel and around the world. As well as in the Tel Aviv museum , in important galleries in Israel and around the word.
1945,1951,1961- Won the Dizengoff price.
1953,1958,1959- participated in the Sao Paolo Biennale.
1956,1962 - participated in the Venice Biennal.
