Since 1979 he has had numerous one-person shows in various institutions, among them The Israel Museum, Jerusalem; the Tel Aviv Museum of Art; Haifa Museum of Art, Herzliya Museum of Art, The Kibbutz Art Gallery, Tel Aviv; July M. Gallery, Tel Aviv; the ICA, Boston; Annina Nosei Gallery, New York; Ambrosino Gallery, Miami, Florida; Espacio Aglutinador, Havana, Cuba; Achschav.now Contemporary Art Gallery, Berlin, and Ermanno Tedeschi Gallery, Turin, Italy.
In 1985 he represented Israel at the 18th Biennial of Sao Paulo, Brazil.
His works have been shown in many group exhibitions around the world. Among Geva’s recent exhibitions were “Mound of Things” at the Tel Aviv Museum, accompanied by a book with assays by Barry Schwabsky and David Shapiro, poets and art critiques; “NoHow On” Herzliya Museum; “Natura Morte” Ermanno Tedeschi Gallery, Torino, Italy ; “After” at Annina Nosei Gallery in New York, accompanied by a mutual book with David Shapiro.
Geva serves as a professor and program director of the arts studies at the Beit Berl College School of Art.
He has received many awards and grants, including The Mendel and Eva Pundik Prize for Israeli Art, Tel Aviv Museum of Art, The Aptowitzer Prize, Haifa Museum of Art, The George and Janet Jaffin Award, America-Israel Cultural Foundation, The Sandberg Prize for an Israeli Artist, The Israel Museum, Jerusalem.
