Born in Latvia, 1912 -1995
Wexler studied art at the Academy of Hamburg, Germany.
In 1933 he immigrated to Israel and joined Kibbutz Ein Hachoresh at Emek Hefer. After leaving the Kibbutz Ein Hachoresh Wexler settled in Haifa .From the year 1965 Wexler was taught at the Avni Institute of Arts , and was a director for several years. Wexler was one of the founders of the ” New Horizons” movement of art.
Wexler used various techniques and different perceptions of modern painting . However he had a basic love to black and white drawing .
His paintings have been exhibited in Israel and abroad , and acquired by museums in Israel and abroad .
Wexler was awarded the Dizengoff Tel Aviv Municipality prise, the award of the Jewish Agency , Jerusalem Prize and the Prize of Haifa.View works
